Unphased by the Zappos takeover last year, Amazon is pushing forward with their shoe store Javari. After Japan and England, Javari has now launched in France (via). In the US, Javari is present as Endless.com (see traffic figures).
In France, the shoe industry is getting cozy. The adversaries Spartoo and Sarenza are in a full out battle for market supremacy. And besides Javari, the French shoe retailer chain Chaussea has gone online (FRA), a mature brick and mortar player with 215 branches and revenues of 125 million euro.
