While live shopping may not be booming everywhere, particular live shopping services are picking up good speed ("Live Shopping wird Tech Megatrend im Silicon Valley").
Woot! is now a part of Amazon. And in Australia, Catch of the Day is jumping from record to record.

"We have been consistently growing by 100% every year for the last 3 years. Last FY (ending June 2010) we reached a revenue of approx $60M.
If all goes well we are looking to cross the $100M mark for the upcoming year (ending June 2011)." (Revenues in AUS Dollars)
The Next Web had an interesting interview with Gabby Leibovich, one of the two founders of Catch of the Day. In their blog, the entrepreneurs reported recently on their move ("The Big Move"):
"We started our little business in Moorabbin 4 years ago with 5 staff and a 300m2 warehouse, with the hope of selling 60 products a day.
Now we’re heading back with 65 staff to a warehouse of 4600m2, shipping a box every 15 seconds, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Not a bad progression over the years!"
Catch of the Day counts now as one of the most successful and innovative live shopping services and shares company with other greats such as Woot! and Backcountry.
