Surprise packages have always been a popular attraction in the live shopping scene.
The Hipstery ("Home of the famous Mystery Shirt") has made it their mission to step-up the surprise effect using a scientific and mysterious method of finding a suitable t-shirt for every person:
The creators pay particular attention to the entertainment factor, or “The Hipstery Experience”.
Although just a few months old, this small but well thought out model has generated astonishingly good resonance and word of mouth is travelling faster than previously expected.
This is another example of how you can creatively market surplus goods if you would only take the time to brainstorm new ideas.
In comparison to predecessors like the American SomethingStore ("Surprise & Delight") or the Dutch Shop A Box ("Gegarandeerd een verrassing"), The Hipstery definately brings the surprise experience to a new level.
The idea is that you don’t only bestow a nice surprise to yourself, but in particular also to your friends and acquaintances.
