The French online travel club Voyage Privé has a 2009 revenue target of 95 million Euros according to Spanish press reports and wants to grow to 500 million Euros by 2012.
Voyage Privé barely missed it’s 2008 target. Instead of 45 million Euros, it achieved 43 million. The club continues to be profitable however, and hit the expected profit of 2 million for 2008.
Since the Fall of 2008, Voyage Privé has been active in Spain and now recently also in Italy. The German start is planned for July and the US start for December.
Also belonging to the Voyage-Privé Group are sites such as Thalasseo, BeautePrivée and Pole Maroc.
German competitors are Triphunter and Dreambookers.
In a few days, Exciting Commerce will head out to IdeaCamp, a conference hosted by Tourismuszukunft and Thomas Cook, where industry experts will discuss the online future of the travel industry. More info to be found in German at Exciting Travel.
